Employees of the Wrocław University of Technology digitize archival film materials that can be viewed on the AZON platform (Atlas of Open Science Resources).

Analog materials including films from students feasts, awarding honorary doctorates, lectures will be rerecorded into a digital version. The digital archive will also include academic news, concerts, student debates, rectors’ elections, theaters, reports from science and sports festivals.

After digitalization, color and exposure correction, noise reduction and sound level correction materials will be stored at the AZON platform, which collects, processes and provides university resources in an open digital form to all interested persons. The coordinator of the project is Wroclaw University of Technology together with partners: Academy of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Medical University of Wroclaw and Institute of Systems Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
