Wrocław University of Technology organises the second Stanisław Lem European Science Award competition

Wrocław University of Science and Technology is inviting young scientists (born on or after 1 January 1982) to participate in the second international competition for the Stanisław Lem European Science Prize.

The competition is open to young scientists affiliated with a university or research centre from a country belonging to the European Union or associated with the Horizon Programme and from Switzerland.

The Stanisław Lem Prize is awarded for scientific achievements or discoveries made in the last three years in the broadly defined field of technical sciences. The award will be given to discoveries characterised by creativity, interdisciplinarity and visionary thinking, while also containing a strong technological component. 

The winner will receive PLN 100,000 (or the equivalent in euro), and will also be invited to Wrocław for the award ceremony and to deliver a commemorative lecture.

The competition application together with the required documents must be submitted electronically by 30 September 2022.
