WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza together with a company ITD24 will implement the project “AntyFakeNews, a system to protect users against false information distributed on the Internet”. The project was included in the list of 10 projects recommended for funding from the National Center for Research and Development.

The application came second on the list in Topic 11 – Verifying information sources and detecting fake news, scoring 18 out of 20 points. The total value of the project is over PLN 4 million.

The aim of the project is to create an ICT tool that will warn users against potentially dangerous FakeNews content and will allow the presentation of real content, with a scientific basis that is thematically consistent with the distributed false information, which represents the scientifically accepted, based on peer-reviewed and proven information sources.
