“IT education and the development of society. Distance learning” will be the topic of the 17th Conference” Informatics in Education “, which is organized from 22-25 September by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Branch of the Polish Information Technology Society.

This year’s conference will be held entirely online. The main theme of the meeting is computer science with the scope defined by the applicable core curriculum.

The topics of the lectures include: Substantive and methodological aspects of teaching computer science; Substantive and methodological aspects of distance learning; Organization of distance learning from the point of view of the school principal, teacher, parent, student; Information technology and distance education and the needs of schools, teachers, students, parents; Preparing teachers for teaching computer science and distance work and A vision of a new school.
