Wroclaw University of Science and Technology to cooperate with the Bełchatów mine

Wroclaw University of Technology will cooperate with the Bełchatów mine. The purpose of the letter of intent signed by representatives of the university and the mine of the Polish Energy Group (PGE) is to increase the efficiency of vocational training in the field of mining and energy.

The signed document assumes the long-term cooperation of the Bełchatów mine and the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Polytechnic. In the future, part of the fields of study at the university will be covered by the patronage of PGE.

The agreement provides for joint implementation of activities in the area of curriculum development, extension of the scope and forms of practical learning in a real work environment, as well as exchange of experience and didactic knowledge, which is to serve to better prepare graduates to undertake work in the mining and energy industry, including in the Bełchatów mine.
