National Centre for Research and Development announced that 41 projects were financed in the 14th competition of the LIDER programme, with a total amount of PLN 70 334 420.00.

LIDER is a programme for doctoral students, academic teachers without a doctoral degree and doctoral students, including post-doctoral students, who obtained this degree not earlier than within the last 7 years. 

The aim of the programme is to enhance the competences of young scientists in independently planning research work and managing their own team, while carrying out projects whose results may be of practical use and have implementation potential.

The largest number of projects, as many as seven, financed in the 14th competition of the LIDER Programme will be implemented by researchers from the Warsaw University of Technology. Three projects each will be implemented by researchers from the Krakow University of Technology, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the Lublin University of Technology.
