The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is launching the second Professor Franciszek Walczak program. The program is addressed to doctors and scientists in the areas of: cardiology, cardiac surgery, oncology, allergology, diabetes, psychiatry and infectious diseases.

It provides internships in the best medical centers in the United States for a period of 3 to 6 months. The Walczak Program is a joint initiative of NAWA and the Ministry of Health.

Persons implementing projects under the program have the opportunity to develop scientific and professional skills, as well as gain experience in the international scientific environment in the field of prevention, diagnosis and therapy of cardiovascular diseases, cancer and many others, which will ultimately improve medical care in Poland.

NAWA is waiting for individual applications of doctors and scientists until March 31, 2020.
