Białystok University of Technology (PB) has signed an agreement of intent with ZURAD Sp. z o.o., which is part of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (Polish Armaments Group).
The cooperation agreement was signed by Dr Eng. Joanna Ejdys, Prof. of PB – Vice Rector for Development, Andrzej Konarzewski – President of the Management Board of Zurad Sp. z o.o. and Tomasz Bury – member of the Management Board of ZURAD Sp. z o.o.
The contract was concluded in the presence of Dr Eng. Mirosław Świercz, Prof. of PB, dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering PB. The Electrical Department of the Bialystok University of Technology has started this cooperation and will conduct the main assumptions including implementation of research services and conducting development works as well as joint activities for raising the level of electrical and electronic knowledge, especially in the area of radiolocation.
The portfolio of ZURAD Sp. z o.o. includes technologically advanced electronic devices for the army, including armored and unarmoured containers with special equipment and container power plants. The company offers: video recorders and speedometers, speed cameras and a system for monitoring and measuring vehicle traffic parameters and automatic registration of offenses for civil needs and for use by road traffic services.
