The winners joined the group of 42 talented young Polish scientists, who received almost PLN 3 million to conduct their innovative research. Paweł Adamski will examine new catalysts that will be able to find their application in chemical plants producing nitrogen fertilizers, and Paulina Bednarczyk and her research team will develop intelligent (self-healing) varnish coatings cross-linked with UV / LED techniques.

The “Leader” program is addressed to young scientists expanding their competences in independent planning of their research works and managing their own research team to implement projects which results may be of practical use and have implementation potential.
