The Motor Transport Institute (ITS) has developed an innovative type of bicycle for the disabled people. The vehicle is an intermediate solution between a single-track and three-wheeled vehicle. It allows to move like a classic bicycle, and when it is needed the bicycle can turn into a tricycle.

The bicycle created by ITS is characterized by a comfortable and stable body position and a comfortable seat. The apparatus also has a very sensitive and precise propulsion assistance. It also has an unprecedented method of stabilization, especially during stopping – emphasizes Prof. Marcin Ślęzak, director of ITS.

From the point of view of non-disabled people, the new unique solution provides increased driving comfort and safety, and therefore it can be a real alternative to ordinary electric bikes.
