On September 23, the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty of Law of the University of Białystok (UW) organized 3rd National Forum of Young Criminologists. For three days, young scientists will discuss about crimes against monuments, animal abuse or the fate of criminals in retirement.
The aim of the conference is to integrate a group of young scientists (including lawyers, criminologists, sociologists, educators) representing various areas of knowledge and to create a possibility for them to exchange information, experiences and research achievements in the field of law and criminology.
The Forum is the first platform in Poland for the exchange of experiences not only between young scientists, but also representatives of practice, including lawyers, judges, representatives of law enforcement and the judiciary – emphasizes Dr Diana Dajnowicz-Piesiecka, coordinator of this year’s Forum.
