The Silesian University of Technology and Satbayev University in Kazakhstan signed a cooperation agreement concerning scientific research, as well as internships and exchange of experiences. The next stage of cooperation is the double diploma agreement.
The Silesian University of Technology has been working together with a university in Kazakhstan since 2012. Both universities signed agreement on Academic Cooperation between the universities including research work, internships for students and doctoral students from Satbayev University and the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering. Moreover, it was used to exchange experiences between lecturers of both universities.
The next stage of cooperation is the double diploma agreement. It will allow students from Almaty to obtain a master’s degree in both Kazakhstan and Poland after completing their master’s studies at the Silesian University of Technology. During the new semester, 10 Kazakh students will study at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering.
