Students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Bialystok University of Technology (PB) under the supervision of Dr Rafał Roskowiński have been painting the mural designed by Kamila Kurczab on the wall in the industrial park in Fasty.
In October 2020, firm Accolade, in partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of PB, launched a competition for a mural design. From among 42 applications, the finalists were selected by the jury, and the winner was chosen by the employees of Panattoni Park Białystok, who will be watching the mural every day. They awarded the project “Colorful Future for All” by Kamila Kurczab. The mural is 30 meters long and covers 70 square meters.
On the one hand, the participation of students from the Faculty of Architecture is an adventure, but also an opportunity to offer our students something beyond the curriculum. Students will acquire new skills, new competencies, and the ability to manage a fairly large project, and also learn teamwork – said Dr Eng. Adam Jakimowicz, Vice-Dean for Development and Cooperation at the Faculty of Architecture.
