The Silesian University of Technology, the University of Silesia and the University of Economics in Katowice have concluded a cooperation agreement with the Office of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF). The aim will be to support large financial data analysis processes.
The cooperation between the KNF Office and universities is aimed at facilitating communication between the supervisor and market participants through easier information exchange. The agreement will enable the involvement of the academic community in key projects for the financial market. The planned activities will include the process of activating the young generation that is just entering the labor market, and showing them the opportunities arising from the use of new, innovative technologies.
Cooperation will also be based on joint research and training ventures. The partners will carry out conferences, training, research projects using the potential of the teaching staff composed of specialists from cooperating institutions.
