Ewa Szczucka, a doctoral student from the Doctoral School of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and Natalia Groszyk, a student of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, won the national competition “EkoMasters”.
The scientists of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences proposed a pro-ecological application for students called “EkoAction Motivation”. The purpose of introducing the application is to encourage students to act for the environment and ecological education through the system of awarding them for earned EkoPoints.
The competition should present a postulate, idea or project regarding a change in the functioning of a university, a selected organizational unit of a university or people making up the academic community. They can reduce the negative impact on the natural environment.
The verdict was announced and the awards were presented during the Academic Gala at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw as part of the ICON 2021 Scientific Club Congress. A book will be published on the winning projects.
