Jagiellonian University launched Center for Innovative Medical Education in Kraków-Prokocim

The Jagiellonian University – Collegium Medicum has opened a modern Center for Innovative Medical Education of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków-Prokocim. 51 million PLN for the expansion and reconstruction of the building, as well as equipment, were obtained from the European Union and the Ministry of Health. It also allocated its own resources for this purpose.

The Jagiellonian University reports that the Center for Innovative Medical Education includes high-fidelity simulation rooms: 2 intensive care rooms, 2 rooms of a hospital emergency department, an operating theater, a delivery room and a community room with an ambulance simulator.

There are also low fidelity simulation rooms, which include 2 BLS simulation rooms, 6 ALS simulation rooms, a clinical skills laboratory room, a technical skills studio, a surgical skills room and 20 OSCE exam rooms Objective Structured Clinical Examination.
