A Monoprofiled Medical Simulation Centre has been opened at the Bielsko-Biała University of Technology and Humanities (ATH). Thanks to the state-of-the-art laboratory, nursing students will be able to train based on world medical standards.

Prepared in partnership with the Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery Centre in Bystra, the specialised laboratory at ATH was created as part of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund.

Its equipment included: 3 highly specialised high-fidelity phantoms, 9 phantoms allowing to improve skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, 5 nursing phantoms, 23 trainers allowing to develop technical skills (injections, gavage, wound care, ultrasound-guided vascular cannulation and others).
