In October 2018, the new research center “GEO-3EM Energy, Ecology, Education” of the Wrocław University of Technology will be opened. All 12 laboratories are located on 4,500 square meters. The total value of the investment is approximately PLN 100 million.
The aim of the project prepared by the Wrocław University is to create a unique center of research and technology transfer in the aspect of sustainable use of raw materials and energy from various sources.
Research conducted in this center e.g. spatial mobility, natural and secondary raw materials, machinery and equipment as well as materials processing, are to be used by the Lower Silesian industry. The authors of the project assume that ideas developed here will be commercialized.
