The Faculty of Physics of Adam Mickiewicz University and the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan are inviting participants to the 17th international Physics of Magnetism conference.
The conference, which takes place periodically, is an opportunity to broaden knowledge on the most up-to-date research on the broadly understood physics of magnetism, magnetic materials, including topological systems, strongly correlated electrons, spin systems, spintronics and potential applications of these materials in the development of modern technologies.
Experts from all over the world including the USA, the Czech Republic, France, Austria, Singapore, Sweden, South Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Finland and Ireland will come to Poznań. There will also be scientists from Poland. The inaugural lecture will be given by J. Michael D. Coey of Trinity College Dublin. His lecture ‘How can a magnetic field influence water’ will be open to the general public.
