The contract for the construction and financing of the Integrated Paediatric Centre (ZCP) between the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław and the Ministry of Health has been signed. The ZCP is the flagship investment of the University Clinical Hospital and the Medical University of Wrocław. The total cost of construction is expected to be over PLN 223 million, with over 201 million of this amount coming from the Medical Fund.
ZCP will be housed in a new five-storey building with an area of almost 17,000 m², located next to the Clinic for Bone Marrow Transplantation, Oncology and Paediatric Haematology. It is planned to create approximately 140 multi-profile beds, several specialist outpatient clinics, diagnostic laboratories and an observation and infection ward.
The construction of the ZCP is primarily intended to secure comprehensive and specialised treatment in paediatrics at the highest standard of services provided and to enable the implementation of modern treatment techniques for the youngest patients from all over Poland.
