In the 2022/2023 academic year, the Wrocław University of Economics was visited by 55 professors from different parts of the world. Outstanding academics conducted didactic classes for students in the capital of Lower Silesia.
The presence of foreign professors is a unique opportunity for students and academics. Thanks to the diversity of experiences and perspectives, guests from foreign research centres contribute to making the educational offer more attractive, and students’ classes become even more varied.
The visiting professors represented such countries as Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Latvia, Germany, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy and the United Kingdom.
The presence of the guests enabled, among other things, a better understanding of global and regional economic, social and political challenges.
