The University of Szczecin and the world leader in robotics, ABB, have signed a cooperation agreement for student education. The University of Szczecin is the first non-technical university in Poland with which ABB Robotics Division is starting to collaborate in this area.

Already in the winter semester 2023/2024, students of the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management, Engineering and Logistics will be taking classes in ABB robot programming based on RobotStudio software. By participating in the classes, students will be able to take the ABB Robot Programming certification exam.

In order to prepare for the classes, the staff of the Institute of Management (Department of Logistics and Department of Computer Science in Management) participated in a workshop on industrial robot programming in the virtual environment of RobotStudio at the ABB Training Centre in Warsaw. The workshop is intended to enable future interdisciplinary research.
