Academy of Finance and Business (AFiB) Vistula in Warsaw is organizing an on-line scientific conference on October 5, 2020, which will summarize the project on the impact of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) on foreign direct investment directed to the Visegrad Group countries (“Effects of Industry 4.0 on FDI in the Visegrád countries”).
“Effects of Industry 4.0 on FDI in the Visegrád countries” is a research project supported by the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) and coordinated by AFiB Vistula. Its aim is to show how Industry 4.0 brings increased efficiency, innovation, agility, cost reduction, revenue growth and better customer service to the Visegrad Group countries as a popular destination for foreign direct investment.
The result of the project is to formulate recommendations for policy makers from the entire region to shape future policy on foreign direct investment in terms of attracting and maintaining them.
