The Ministry of Education and Science project “PE with AWF – Active return to school” – a program to support students after a pandemic in returning to full physical fitness, implemented by the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice is nearing its midpoint.
So far, the program has included 23 training sessions / workshops attended by 2,439 teachers. They were issued with certificates entitling to enroll in the second part of the program, i.e. Sport Clubs. They are aimed at children and youth from primary and secondary schools. The first Sport Club will start in August and will be held until mid-December.
Sport Clubs are additional sports activities aimed at activating children and youth from primary and secondary schools. They will improve the physical condition after the period of hypokinesia during the SARS-CoV epidemic and enable the diagnosis of selected aspects of the physical condition and health of children and adolescents.
