The Minister of Science and Higher Education has recognised the Strategy for the Development of the Medical University of Wrocław for 2024-2026. This translates into additional funds to better prepare for efforts to become a research university.

This project is a milestone in the ‘Initiative of Excellence – research university’ competition. It is a great development opportunity for staff, students, and PhD students. The money will provide extensive and innovative support for research and teaching activities. 

Key areas include the start-up and development of pilot, leading-edge research teams, the funding of micro-grants in the area of translational medicine and clinical research, challenging modern medicine, and the creation of interdisciplinary teams to provide a link between research achievements and teaching practice,

The money will be used to initiate and implement modern forms of training for students and doctoral students as part of the research-oriented teaching policy.
