Researchers from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków are working on a technology to produce antioxidant beverages that improve the psychophysical condition of humans with broad regenerative properties for our bodies.

The technology proposed by Dr Agnieszka Włodyka-Bergier, Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology from the Faculty of Mining Geodesy and Environmental Engineering, which will be developed under the grant together with Tymbark-MWS, a company belonging to the Maspex Group, makes it possible to produce water-based drinks of excellent quality in terms of chemical composition and microbiological purity in a very short time.

The consortium of Tymbark-MWS and AGH received funding of nearly PLN 5.5 million for the task as part of the NUTRITECH competition of the National Centre for Research and Development.

‘Our aim is to introduce antioxidant beverages with hydrogen as the main active ingredient to the market’, explains Professor Agnieszka Włodyka-Bergier.
