The AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and the Czarny Dunajec Commune have signed a cooperation agreement for the creation of the Maria Skłodowskiej-Curie Center. It will deal with popularizing science and new technologies among children, youth and tourists visiting Podhale.
According to the AGH University of Science and Technology, the research and teaching center should also act as an incubator for the creators of innovative ideas in science and new technologies. The new center in southern Poland will foster the development of talents and scientific passions, in particular among children and adolescents.
The role of AGH will be to cooperate in the development of the concept for the implementation of the Center, including establishing the main assumptions for the functioning of the facility.
Concept works will start in November this year, and design works will start in the first quarter of next year. The commencement of the investment will take place in 2024 at the latest.
