Almost every tenth student of the Catholic University of Lublin is a foreigner

Over 850 foreign students from 45 countries around the world studied at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) in the past academic year.

The largest group, about 500 young people, came from Ukraine, followed by Belarus, and then Nigeria. In the case of the Erasmus + program, the Catholic University of Lublin has traditionally educated the highest number of Spanish students.

“The total number of all students of the Catholic University of Lublin is almost 10,000. people, so the university got closer to 10% of internationalization of the student community. Now there are fewer of foreign students, because some of them have become graduates, and we are in the process of recruiting foreign students for studies from October 1, 2022”, said Magdalena Pranagal, who manages the work of the KUL Enrolment Office and foreigner students. Most of them study in Polish, and almost 100 people study in English.
