Almost PLN 6 million earmarked for the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa

Jan Długosz University (UJD) in Częstochowa has won PLN 5,996,000 to implement a programme for the development of scientific research, innovation transfer, internationalisation and education within the disciplines of chemical sciences and environmental engineering, mining and energy. 

The funding was awarded as part of the ‘Regional Excellence Initiative 2024-2027’ competition. It will allow the university to intensify its dynamic in all areas of its activities. 

The money will allow for the implementation of more than a dozen tasks including certification of selected research laboratories/methods, increasing the competencies of research and teaching staff, microgrants, an incentive programme, increasing the level of internationalisation, popularisation and dissemination of science, expansion of research infrastructure, increasing the quality of education for the needs of the economy, implementation of scientific internships, establishment and operation of the Grant Application Support Office and creation of an interdisciplinary scientific journal.
