Gdansk University of Technology has won nearly PLN 7 million for the development and modification of educational programmes for key branches of national industry under the European Funds for Social Development programme.
As part of the implementation of the Studia 5.0 project, five MA study programmes at the faculties of: chemistry; electronics, telecommunications and computer science; technical physics and applied mathematics; civil and environmental engineering; and mechanical engineering and shipbuilding will be modified.
Sixty-one academics will work on the creation of new content. The project will also include classes taught by practitioners, study visits and the addition or modification of a laboratory base.
An important part of the project will be the development of the competences of teachers involved in the implementation of the educational process in the modified majors. Training courses for teaching staff will cover digital competences, for green transformation and universal design.
