“Amazing machine” – competition for Bialystok University of Technology admission

“Amazing Machine” is a competition for secondary school students, especially final exams graduates. The pupil or team that builds the best machine will win PLN 5 000 and admission to selected faculties of the Białystok University of Technology. There will also be prizes for the school where the best constructors’ study and for their teacher-mentor.

Białystok University of Technology, the largest technical university in north-eastern Poland, is organising the ‘Amazing Machine’ competition for the sixth time. It is a competition in which the main prizes are indices for selected first degree courses of the Białystok University of Technology and cash prizes.

The competition is open to secondary school students from all over Poland. In order to take part, they need to create a device modelled on Rube Goldberg’s machine, in which interconnected mechanisms, working according to the domino principle, lead to a final, spectacular finale.

The young designers have several months to build the machine. The deadline for submissions and publication of the competition films will be 22 March 2024.
