Dr Anna Slawik, from the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Kraków, has created a web application called MISS® (Methodology of Identification of Strategic Stakeholders), which provides guidance on how to think about stakeholders and how to select those on which to focus attention and resources.

“MISS® is a stakeholder analysis method that helps organisations identify those stakeholders that really matter to their business and projects. The application guides you through the process of identifying and prioritising stakeholders in an accessible way, and allows you to link specific stakeholders to your organisation’s goals to better understand the environment in which it operates”, says Dr Anna Slawik.

The web application prototype was funded by the Society of the Future Priority Research Area within the ‘Excellence Initiative – Research University’ programme at Jagiellonian University, and its pre-implementation version by the CITTRU Technology Transfer Centre.
