Architecture students from the West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT) in Szczecin and the Silesian University of Technology (PŚ) have made it to the ‘Top 50’ list of The Skyrise 2022 competition organised by Impact Design Competitions. They designed a skyscraper that can be modified in many ways, like a building made of bricks.

The proposal by Jacek Czudak and Mateusz Nisiewicz from ZUT and Dawid Drożdż from PŚ is a parametrically designed modular skyscraper. Any modifications to the building are easily made, and adapting it to the possibilities of the location and fitting it into the urban fabric of a large agglomeration is not a problem. The building can be transformed, constantly expanding, and its functions depend on its users.

High buildings by Polish students, contain a range of modules to choose, for residential and for shared use, such as cinemas or shops. In this way, the facilities become self-contained units that can meet most of the needs of their residents, reports ZUT.
