The University of Wrocław invites participants to the Night of Laboratories 2018, which will be held on October 20. Its employees prepared an evening full of scientific attractions for all visitors of the university.

In the Documents Research Laboratory of the Department of Forensics at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, students will be able to find out how to check the authenticity of documents, how to recognize counterfeit money, and learn how to verify identity cards, passports, driving licenses and registration documents.

The Faculty of Biotechnology invites viewers to three workshops within program “Discover the secrets of genes.” The guests will get to know the modified organisms, including their advantages and disadvantages and how they are created.

There will also be attractions at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sciences, where scientists will explain what a geologist’s job is about. It will also be possible to independently examine the surface of the rocks with the binocular loupes and the polarizing microscope.
