Białystok University of Technology (PB) has signed a patronage agreement with the Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński Secondary School No. 3 in Białystok. As a result, from 1 September, students of the Białystok secondary school began their education in a class with a polytechnic profile.

“I am convinced that this cooperation will bring great benefits to both the Białystok Polytechnic and the high school. I am very happy with this initiative and I believe that such a framework will allow young people to develop their technical passions and discover their talents”, said Dr Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, rector of the Białystok University of Technology, during a press conference.

Pupils of one of the first classes of the High School will participate in classes conducted by students of the University of Technology, take selected classes in physics, mathematics or computer science, as well as popular science lectures. In addition, the students will benefit from lectures organised on the school’s premises and given by university lecturers from the University of Technology.
