Two academies in Kraków to create a joint degree Sound Directing

The AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków and the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music (AMKP) in Kraków signed a letter of intent on 31 August 2022. One of the aims of the activities declared by the academies is to establish joint studies in the field of ‘Sound Directing’.

According to AGH, the Academies also intend to cooperate in the following areas: joint didactics, research and internships, organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops, exchange of teaching staff and students, provision of necessary infrastructure and other resources.

An inter-university working team will be established and its work will be co-chaired by Dr Mateusz Bień, AMKP, and Dr Paweł Małecki.

The letter of intent was signed by the Rector of AGH Prof. Jerzy Lis and the Rector of AMKP Prof. Wojciech Widłak.
