Students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Białystok University of Technology together with lecturers created the concept of the Xylopolis exhibition. The inspiration was the knowledge of the employees of the Institute of Forest Sciences. The Podlaskie Voivodeship will present it during the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai.  

During the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai, there will be a joint presentation of the Podlaskie Voivodeship and the Ministry of Climate and Environment, organized under the name Xylopolis. The aim of the project is to promote culture, science, economy and tourist values ​​of the region. The concept of the exhibition was created by students of architecture together with employees of the Faculty of Architecture and the Institute of Forest Sciences.

Xylopolis is a story about mixing primal nature with modern technology. It is a vision of a silicon forest, a clean economy which, creates an ecosystem of two coherent organisms that support each other and care for each other on the basis of symbiosis with nature.
