The Faculty of Technology and Chemical Engineering of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology has launched a diet studio. From October, it will be available to students and also residents of the city and the region.
“The studio was established for the needs of food technology and human nutrition, which has been implemented at our faculty for some time. We wanted to improve our teaching base so that students gain practical skills. We hope that it will allow our graduates to become sought-after employees on the labor market”, emphasizes Dr Eng. Anna Długosz, initiator of the creation of the studio.
From October, students and residents of the city and the region will be able to take advantage of dietary advice. There, they will get to know the assessment of their nutritional status and perform selected tests. The studio is equipped with a professional body composition analyzer, folding device and devices for the early detection of peripheral arterial disease.
