The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) is launching the call for applications for the competition in the START programme, in which young scholars can win a scholarship for their outstanding scientific achievements. The call will run until 31 October 2022.
The START scholarship is a prestigious award for the most talented young scholars, granted in recognition of their scientific achievements. It can be applied for by scientists representing all fields of science who are under 30 years of age in the year of application.
The competition for the scholarship evaluates primarily the quality and originality of the candidate’s previous scientific output and the most important research achievement.
In previous years, the annual individual scholarship amounted to PLN 28,000. The scholarship can be used for any purpose.
In the START programme, prizes are also awarded to candidates whose scientific achievements have been rated highest by the competition reviewers and have been recognised as outstanding.
