The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has announced the first call for proposals under the Programme European Funds for a Modern Economy – SMART Path. This is the successor of the Fast Track, well-known to entrepreneurs, the largest programme of innovation support for Polish companies to date.
The call for applications for co-financing in the competition, whose budget is as much as PLN 667 million, will start on 21 February. The competition will be directed at large enterprises.
The aim of the SMART Path competition is to develop and strengthen the research and innovation capacity of enterprises through the implementation of R&D works and the implementation of innovations. The implementation of the projects will also give companies the opportunity to adapt their activities to the challenges identified in the European Green Deal and related to digitalisation, development of research infrastructure, internationalisation of activities, as well as the increase of staff competences.
