Project “Renewable energy sources – a good direction for the future” at the National School of Higher Education in Sanok

Nearly PLN 150 000 will be received by the Jan Grodek State Higher School (UP) in Sanok for the project “RES – a good direction for the future”, as part of the Regional Support Programme for Environmental Education with the participation of the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Rzeszów.

“The project will be a comprehensive support for secondary school pupils and students in the field of education in the subject of renewable energy sources”, said Dr Mateusz Kaczmarski, rector of UP in Sanok. 

The project includes 20 practical workshops, 2 scientific competitions and the development of a concept for a solar bench, which will be made by students of mechanics and mechanical engineering with the support of lecturers as part of their master’s thesis at the Institute of Technology. 

As part of the project, a teaching laboratory for renewable energy sources will also be created and equipped at the Technical Institute. The laboratory and its equipment will be used for teaching students and pupils from primary and secondary schools.
