The AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków has signed an agreement on cooperation in personnel training with Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ), an investor in Poland’s first nuclear power plant.

The agreement also covers cooperation in the development of nuclear and other technologies applicable to the industry, as well as carrying out activities to support the development of the energy sector in Poland.

The project to build Poland’s first nuclear power plant is not just about technology or performance. It is also an opportunity for the forward-looking development of our staff potential, which we should use in the best possible way”, said Anna Moskwa, Minister of Climate and Environment.

“Cooperation with the Polskie Elektrownia Jądrowa (Polish Nuclear Power Plant) provides an opportunity primarily for our students, who will be implemented by specialists in the process of launching the first nuclear power plant in Poland already at the stage of their studies”, stressed AGH rector Prof. Jerzy Lis.
