Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation with the Police Academy (WSPol) in Szczytno. It involves joint research and scientific projects, especially in the field of criminology, which the university is attempting to launch.
Rector of the Police Academy in Szczytno, Dr Iwona Klonowska, WSPol emphasized that schools are planning to provide jointly scientific projects and publications, co-organization of conferences, seminars and symposia, as well as exchange of students and academic staff.
According to the Catholic University of Lublin, a letter of intent was also signed on cooperation with the Mayor of Szczytno City and Commune, Krzysztof Mańkowski. The cooperation will concern the organization of the “Polish Sienkiewicz Days” in Szczytno. The project aims to promote the person and works of the first Polish Nobel laureate in the field of literature – Henryk Sienkiewicz.
On the part of KUL, the project will be participated by the scientists of the Institute of Literature Studies.
