The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) is looking for a location for a clinical hospital. This relates to the planned launch of a medical faculty from October 2023, as well as the nursing and midwifery studies already underway.

The Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, Rev. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski, turned to the Marshall of the Lublin Voivodeship, Jarosław Stawiarski, for support in obtaining a location for the clinical hospital.

The Marshal informed him that two locations had been pre-selected: at Herbert and at Lubartowska Streets. Both are currently being used by the Stefan Kardynał Wyszyński Voivodship Specialist Hospital – Independent Public Health Care Institution in Lublin. An assessment of value of both properties and equipment is underway.

The Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) informed that the Catholic University of Lublin had established cooperation with the Medical College of Wisconsin in the USA, the Gemelli Polyclinic and “La Sapienza” University in Rome, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon and its School of Medicine and Medical Sciences, the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, and the Medical University of Lublin regarding the medical faculty and clinical hospital.
