The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, has decided to grant the Main School of Fire Service (SGSP) in Warsaw the right to run a new course – medical rescue.
The decision was presented to the university’s authorities by Włodzimierz Bernacki, Deputy Minister for Education and Science, who noted that the creation of the new course would allow future rescuers to be trained both for the civilian population and for the needs of the fire service.
SGSP will begin teaching on the medical rescue faculty at the beginning of the new academic year, i.e. from 1 October 2023. It is estimated that 60 students (30 full-time and 30 part-time students) will start their studies.
The programme of studies on the faculty of medical rescue at SGSP has been created on the basis of the standard of education preparing for the profession of medical rescuer, specified by the regulation of the Minister of Education and Science.
