The competition for the best master’s thesis “Now Poland Tourism”, organised by the Polish Tourism Association with support of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, has been settled.
First place in the competition was awarded to Aleksandra Werner from the University of Szczecin for her thesis “Tourism for Persons with Disabilities in the Context of Amenities of the City of Szczecin on Selected Examples”. Second place was taken by Natalia Czupryńska from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) for her thesis ‘The Witcher film trail project in southern Poland as a potential tourism product’, and third place was awarded to Kamila Gromadzka from the Wincenty Pol University of Applied Sciences in Lublin for her thesis ‘Analysis of tourism attractiveness and evaluation of hotel and tourism facilities in Zamość and the surrounding area’.
The jury also awarded seven distinctions. The awarded graduates were appreciated for the coherent and comprehensive presentation of the case study, the practical aspects of their work and the fact that their results can be used for the commercialisation of tourism products or further scientific exploration.
