Competition for the design of an ultramodern building for the West Pomeranian University of Technology

The West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, in cooperation with the Association of Polish Architects, Szczecin Branch, has announced a competition for the best urban-architectural concept design for a new building for the Faculty of Informatics. The total cost of the investment will be over PLN 160 million.

The ultramodern building of the Faculty of Computer Science will be a unique in the region combination of scientific and research potential with fabrication zones (FabLabs), The space is expected to be inspiring, innovative, flexible, accessible and supportive of the scientific and teaching processes.

The building is to include ultra-modern lecture, seminar, exercise and research rooms, as well as a reading room in the form of an open design and learning zone, a fabrication zone, a student food court and a relaxing space full of plant life.
