From August 1, applications for participation in the XXIII competition for the Marshal of the Lodzkie Voivodship 2022 awards for the best dissertations and thematically related works related to the Lodzkie Voivodship can be submitted. The call for applications will last until September 23 this year.

The awards of the Marshal of the Lodzkie Voivodship are awarded for dissertations and works that present research results useful for the social, economic or cultural development of the region. Theses presented in 2021 (so far not awarded in cash in other competitions) may be submitted to the 23rd competition including habilitation theses and series of thematically related publications / scientific articles, constituting the basis for awarding the degree of habilitated doctor; doctoral dissertations; theses: master’s, engineering and bachelor’s theses.

The subject of the works should be related to the history, tradition and identity of the Łódź region, its culture and tourist values, material and non-material heritage, taking into account the social activity and profiles of the inhabitants.
