Until 24 March 2023, young people from colleges and full-time and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate BA and MA students from universities located in the Republic of Poland can submit their entries to the competition “Polish Heart Cracked. Katyn 1940”.
The competition is divided into four categories, the first three are aimed at young people aged 15-21 attending colleges: Art work – creating an illustration for a publication on the Katyn massacre; Literary work – theme: “This is also a struggle. Everyday life of Polish officers in NKVD camps in Kozielsk, Ostashkov and Starobielsk in 1939-1940”; Song lyrics – dedicated to the Katyn Massacre.
The fourth category is aimed at students under the age of 26 and consists of preparing a script for a 45-minute lesson on the topic: “This is also a struggle. Everyday life of Polish officers in NKVD camps in: Kozielsk, Ostaszkow and Starobielsk in 1939-1940”.
Each participant can only submit one work.
