The Institute of Cultural Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Silesia is inviting participants to the national scientific conference on “What’s new in new media? The future begins today.”

The subject of the conference was taken from the futurological perspective and is an invitation to reflect on what current trends, trends and communication behaviors form the foundations of what is new and unknown, announcing further changes in media culture determined by the media.

Meeting at the Scientific Information Center and the Academic Library in Katowice will also be an opportunity to try to answer the following questions: what will be the future of new media, what devices we will use, what will be the future of mobile media or what form they may take.

The invitation to participate in the event is addressed to theoreticians, researchers of contemporary culture, media experts, communicologists, and media anthropologists, as well as practitioners from the new media industry.
